CBSE students can apply for TN Engg admissions without results

Tamil Nadu Education Minister P Palaniappan said that CBSE students can apply for Tamil Nadu Engineering admissions without their class 12 results. "Supreme Court had directed that classes for engineering courses commence by August 1 after completing the counselling process and other examinations by June 30," minister said.
 So, Anna University began issuing applications 15 days in advance. The forms will be available till May 20, and the counselling is slated to be held between June 21 and July 30.
Once CBSE results are out, Anna University would download their mark sheets. Conversely, students can download their mark sheets and send them to Anna University. 
The cut-off list would be released only after taking into account the CBSE results. DMDK member L Venkatesan asked for an extension on the last date for the submission of application. 
Anna University conducts TNEA 2013 entrance test for admissions in the first year B. E. / B. Tech. Degree Courses to the University Departments / University Colleges, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges and for the seats surrendered by the Self - Financing Engineering Colleges in the State.


CBSE results are likely to be announced in Last week of May 2013.

3. Only Candidates who have applied for Photocopy-cum-Revaluation are eligible for the Review for their answer script (by remitting the prescribed fee) only  after the Publication of the Revaluation Results, if not satisfied with the revalued  results.  Those who have applied only for Revaluation are not eligible for the  review of their answer scripts. The details of the  Review Procedure will be  announced along with their revaluation results.

4. Photocopying and Revaluation work are being carried  out simultaneously.  If  any discrepancy is noticed  in the valuation after getting the Photocopy, the  same may be brought to the notice of the Controller of Examinations through  their respective Colleges within 3 days from  the date of receipt of the  Photocopy.

5. Separate application has been prescribed for Revaluation and  Photocopy-cum-Revaluation.
