Council for Leather Exports Invites application for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in the pay scale of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1,900/-Gross emoluments at present Rs.15,374/- against regularvacancy of Two posts and an Ad-hoc vacancy.

Qualification : Should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. Through knowledge of computer operation and higher grade typing are essential
Place of posting : The present place of posting will be in Head Office, Chennai but incumbents are liable for transfer to any other offices of Council in India.

General Instructions:
1. Invites application for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in the pay scale of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1,900/-Gross emoluments at present Rs.15,374/- against regular vacancy of Two posts and an Ad-hoc vacancy.
2. The incumbents appointed against regular vacancies alone are eligible for employer’s contribution toProvident Fund, Pension Fund, Annual Medical Reimbursement, Medi-claim policy for self and dependent, Earned Leave encashment, Gratuity, Bonus as per the rules of the Council.

6. Candidate should be BE/B.Tech/Diploma (Civil) with proven techno commercial competence in implementation of Projects relating to construction of building, interiors furnishing with minimum seven years experience in a senior level position in reputed organization.
7. Invites application for the post of “Assistant Director-Projects” in Chennai in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 with a grade pay of Rs.5400 and admissible allowances thereto. Monthly emoluments as at present is Rs.47,924/- as per 6th CPC package besides other benefits like EPF,

The Council for Leather Exports (popularly known as CLE) set up in July 1984, is an autonomous non-profit company registered under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 entrusted with export promotionactivities and development of the Indian leather industry. Functioning under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, CLE is the apex body of the 2400 member rapidly growing Indian leather Industry. CLE’s activities are multiple and directed towards assisting its members in extending their global reach thereby increasing their exports. CLE caters to the needs of the leather exporters and serves as a connecting bridge between Indian leather exporters and buyers all over the world. This way, CLE acts as a facilitator for building relationships between overseas buyers/investors and their Indian counterparts to promote exports from the Indian leather industry. As a government sponsored nodal agency, CLE is a one-stop source for international investors to not only access all the information, but also avail the guidance they need, to set up a successful venture in the Indian marketplace. CLE’s status as the apex Leather Export Promotion Organization in India also calls for its active involvement with the Central and State Governments in the evolution of suitable action plans and formulation and dissemination of pro-active Government policies to promote Indian leather exports as well as the infrastructure and fiscal support available to exporters. In this whole exercise of promoting exports, CLE works closely with its members and Government departments in having their individual and collective problems and difficulties resolved.
