Anna University, Chennai has conducted the Nov/Dec 2012 examination for odd semesters(3rd,5th,7th semester) from November 16 to December 29,2012 and for 1st semester from 19th January 2013 to 31st January 2013.

Exams for students in affiliated colleges under Anna University, Chennai and Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Madurai is conducted by Anna University, Chennai as all the Anna University of Technology are merged by government.

Both 1st year and other students will have their 1st sem exam on same time i.e. January 2013.

Last time, Anna University results were much delayed and thus revaluation results is also delayed. This delay caused many tensions among the students.

This time the correction is expected to commence in the end of December 2012 and get over before Pongal. The correction of the 1st sem exam start immediately after their exam and end in the month of February itself.

Anna University Correction for Nov/Dec 2012 got over by 2nd Week of January 2013, Anna University results 2012 for affiliated colleges for 3rd,5th,7th semester and arrear results of 2nd,4th,6th,8th semester will be announced in the Last week of January 2013 or First week of February 2013. Also some sources said that results may even come in 4th week itself.

Extra Marks, Grace marks and out of syllabus Questions

Anna University results for 1st sem Jan 2013 will be announced by last week of February 2013.

Students reported that they found many wrong and out of questions in the Anna University exam 2012. Marks may be given for those questions. Grace marks can also be given for the subjects which was very difficult and if pass percentage is much reduced. This type of grace marks were given in previous exams and lets hope for the best.
