According to Forbes magazine again Mukesh Ambani gets the title as “Richest person of
India”. He became the richest person of India with the net worth of 21.5 billion US Dollars.
Mukesh Ambani persists as a Richest man in india for the sixth consecutive year according
to the annual rankings published by Forbes on 4 March 2013. However all over the world
He ranked at number 22. Steel King Lakshmi Mittal ranked at 41st position with the net
worth of 16.5 billion US Dollars.
A/c the survey of Forbes magazine Carlos Slim, followed by Bill Gates were first in the list
of World’s richest person. As according to the list top richest person are as :
1. Carlos Slim, followed by Bill Gates -67 billion US Dollars
2. Spain's Amancio Ortega-57 billion US Dollars
3. Warren Buffett-53.5 billion US Dollars
4. Larry Ellison-43 billion US Dollars
In the list mentioned by the magazine out of total 1426 people, 55 billionaires name
appeared from India. Despite of Mukesh Ambani & Lakshmi Mittal with Azim Premji, Dilip
Shanghvi, Shashi & Ravi Ruia, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Savitri Jindal, Sunil Mittal, Shiv
Nadar, K P Singh and Anil Ambani appeared in this list.
